Daytona Beach Condos

Daytona Beach Condos

Today is April 22, 2021.

There are 67 listings of Daytona Beach Condos. And while this more than double the number of available condos in Daytona Beach Shores, we need to keep in mind that Daytona Beach Shores is on the barrier island squashed between the ocean and the river, and pretty much what you have there is oceanfront or ocean view, and river view. There is hardly a condo in Daytona Beach Shores that is either not on the beach or does not have a view of the water. And Daytona Beach Shores is considered the condo capital of our Daytona Area due to a heavy concentration of condos. A small city of less than 5,000 resident have 80% of them living in a condo. While the number of condo buildings in Daytona Beach is pretty much similar to Daytona Beach Shores, Daytona Beach population is 68,711 vs. 4,552 in Daytona Beach Shores.

Daytona Beach is different. Part of it is on the barrier island, just north of Daytona Beach Shores, but a bigger part of it is on the mainland with so many of them having no view of the ocean or the river, and which are not really a magnet for the condo buyers form up north. There are many older and smaller (2-3 stories) condos. this is where people mostly live full time or rent, not vacation places.

There only a few condos in Daytona Beach, which are in Daytona on the Beachside. Magnificent Mediterranean, the family of several high rise Alikis and just a few more high-rise condos, which are premium condos sought by buyers from up north. They form a nice community close to Bellaire Plaza and this is a beautiful place in Daytona to live, where you do not  even need a car, as everything is so close. This  is where you have all the shops, a restaurant row. Just a block from the ocean, and you have walking areas with tree-lined street, historic buildings, with river and Ormond Bridge in your backyard. It  is actually a border between Daytona and Ormond Beach, and is a beautiful place to live or have a vacation.
