Riverwood Village condominium is a small townhome-style complex a few hundred yards from busy US-1.

It is less than 10-minute drive to the ocean and just a couple of minutes walk to the river. Small, clean and quiet condo community. While it is close to the railroad,  it does not seem to be a busy one at all. So yes, this is a quiet place.

South Daytona is known for its quiet lifestyle. Tree-lined streets, manicured lawns… There are very few condo buildings in South Daytona besides Riverwood Village. Single family homes dominate the landscape.

Total of 60 townhome-style units in 2 levels in buildings with 4 and 5 units. Each unit is $1,024 sq. ft. Nice clean good size pool. Quite a few units there are used as rentals.

Maintenance fee (2016) – $180 a month.

The City does not have limitations on rentals in the Code of Ordinances. The City would like to have 6 months minimum, but at this time it is a wish, it is not enforceable, and there are no fines for renting for a week or month. However, the owners of rental units should obtain a City license ($52.50 a year) and have the unit inspected by the City inspector.
