“Florida breaks another tourism record with 29.8 million visitors in first quarter”
This is the title of the article I ran into May 17 in Tampa Bay Times. It is about yet another record.
I remember all the hype a year ago, when Florida reached 100,000,000 visitors a year record. And this year we are expecting to hit the 115,000,000 mark.
The numbers are staggering… Considering that tourist dollars put bread on a lot of tables in the State, this, of course, is excellent news.
Of course, we all know that the rising trend is not forever, and tourism is vulnerable, but for now we are enjoying record number of tourists.
Our Daytona also beat all records with 9.5 million visitors last year. Hopefully, we would see 10,000,000 this year.
