A few weeks ago, we had a chance to go to the International Builders’ Show at Orlando Convention Center. What an incredible Builders’ Show it was…
We went there first on January 9, but we had a small business to stop at IKEA. We needed to help our client to buy a kitchen, which we designed for him. This small job ended up taking over 5 hours, and by the time we were done, the day was over, so we went back home (71.5 miles) and returned next day.
85,000 attendees, unbelievable. And the show was worth it. We did not expect it to be so big, so we only were there one day and only visited the Expo. Next time I would plan all three days, and I know it would not be enough.
There were so many things to see. I finally found the doors that wowed me. Great price and excellent quality. We saw stuff which I could not find on the Internet when I tried to find some of the Expo stuff, it is still not there.
We saw the tomorrow in kitchens and baths, appliances, construction materials, high end doors, unbelievably good laminates and so much more. It was the first Builders’ Show we went to. I hope it is not the last.
