It was Marina Grande on the Halifax, then they changed it to MG on the Halifax, and then changed to Marina Grande on the Halifax.

The Towers

Unique condo development in the area, like a transplant from affluent Miami on Daytona soil.

Both towers were built in 2007, one after the other. The project called for 4 towers, but the market stumbled.

Two 26-story buildings, 486 units total. There are 10 units per floor, 2-bedroom/ 2 bath, 2 bedr/2 baths + den, and 3 bedroom/ 3 baths. All units are angled towards the river and have excellent view of the Intracoastal. From floor 8-9 and up there is view of the ocean, higher floors have very good view of the ocean.

Interestingly, the higher you are, the more you get the view of the ocean, and less the good view of the river. Lower floors do not have ocean view, but have exceptional river views.

Unique and Beautiful

Its uniqueness shows in that it attracts younger crowd. Of course, for me younger crowd is everyone younger than 60 :), but seriously, long-term rentals there are all to young people, mostly those flight school students/aspiring plane owners and commercial pilots mainly from Europe, who are choosing Marina Grande on the Halifax as a place to be, even though it is not on the Ocean and is not even on the beachside.

They have excellent taste. Buildings are beautiful, decor and all arrangement is modern and beautiful. Stunning fitness center, and I do not think you can find another fitness center like this in any other condo in the area. 11,000-sq.ft. clubhouse, magnificent pool… everything in Marina Grande on the Halifax is there to impress. And impressed you will be.

Amenities

Marina Grande offers one assigned parking space in garage (you can purchase extra parking space). Two community pools, Jacuzzi/ hot tub… 11,000-sf clubhouse facility, state-of-the-art fitness Center with every imaginable device, gorgeous grounds with waterfalls, meticulously maintained landscaping…

Boaters can buy a slip at the marina. And have your boat right where you live. There are very few condos in Daytona, which offer slips, and only two, where you can buy them and have them deeded to you.
