Excellent location just a few short blocks north of Main St., Daytona Pier, Seabreeze Ave. with all the bars, restaurants and clubs, within walking distance. Ocean Walk Village with shops, restaurants, and a movie theater is also steps away.
Recently Daytona Beach Club completed extensive concrete restoration of the garage, installed new glass entrance wall.
The restaurant currently is not in operation. For a few years now, Daytona Beach Club does not have operating Front Desk. There is no rental management company on-site, and owners rent on their own. It is not easy to find a management company for this condo-hotel because of its size. Previous management company left after they lost management contract on another condo-hotel, and left with only one condo-hotel proved economically not feasible for them.
Rentals are done by owners and their agents. Quite a few owners are renting long-term. The resort in 2015 has passed the amendment allowing using the condo-hotel as your primary residence and allowing to homestead it, however, they can be challenged by the City for using it in violation of the Zoning.
Seems like even after the major restoration, there is some deferred maintenance like the painting of the building might be needed. Also, seems like concrete restoration has still not completed, and it also may come with Special Assessment.
